That night…

It was biting cold
And a monday night
It was months since we gathered
And chilled out right

The jokes we cracked
And the laughs we had
Those wounds that healed
And friendships sealed

Took forever to happen
Went past in a blink,
I realised this moment
Would soon become a memory

A memory I would cherish
And never forget
The pictures though awkward
Will make me laugh
And make me sad

Couldn’t this last forever?
Only if we could stay together
Only if we could revert back
To the jokes and laughs
And unworrying times,

But this is just a delusion
Those times have flied,

It will again take forever till
That night comes by…
