A new phase

2022, is yet another book that is nearing its completion. Soon it will be shelved along with its prequels in everybody's personal bookshelf, and the next version of our story will begin writing itself right from the very next moment. For many, this would be the first in their shelf and for many, this would be their last. 

Talking about the story of my life, this book titled 2022 has to be the bulkiest and the most embraced one. Bulky because so much happened this year which made this book much larger than its predecessors. Apart from turning 16 and hitting puberty hard, there was a lot that happened to result in eternal changes in me as a human being. I had a fair share of unsettled times which taught me more than anything about life and were accompanied by a lot of good times and memories. The most prominent one being the day I reunited with my old friends after 2 prolonged years and the other being the time when we were finally freed of this pandemic and everyone returned to the old normal. 


And it's a good idea to shelve 2022 and welcome the forthcoming year poetically.

To those people I met
To those people I left
This year was the best
The one I won't forget

To the memories I made
All the hardships I faced
This year too  
will soon fade

The final dusk has passed
The moonlight has crossed
What everyone awaits
Is the dawn and the rays

Tomorrow marks the beginning
Of a new story
I hope it to be cherishable
And full of glory

To be glorious than its predecessors
To have it's own flaws and errors
To have the twists and turns
Yet a beautiful outcome

And now with just a few moments left in the big transition I wish everyone a Wonderful New Year! I hope that this book of yours is full of amazing stories!
